Intermediate Leathercrafting (Leather Clutch Bag)


Programme: 12 hours over 4 sessions

Interesting highlights of the programme include:

  • Introduction to intermediate leather crafting with lecturer on leather crafting and practical in recognizing leather types and leather components.

  • Practice punching of stitch holes and the practice of stitching leather parts together.

  • Gluing and assembling leather panels together. Debossing of name and stitch panels.

  • Stitch leather panels together. Fabricate zipper leather pull handle – mount metal stud and stitch parts together.

  • Assembly of the leather parts into the final leather book cover. Burnishing and finishing the cover edges with edge sealer and oil or wax.
