Interesting highlights of the programme include:
Introduction to intermediate leather crafting with lecturer on leather crafting and practical in recognizing leather types and leather components.
Practice punching of stitch holes and the practice of stitching leather parts together.
Gluing and assembling leather panels together. Debossing of name and stitch panels.
Stitch leather panels together. Fabricate zipper leather pull handle – mount metal stud and stitch parts together.
Assembly of the leather parts into the final leather book cover. Burnishing and finishing the cover edges with edge sealer and oil or wax.
