Creating a Coaster with Perler Beads

THIS IS A 1-SESSION ONLINE COURSE. Invented by Swede Gunnar Knutsson in the early 1960s as a form of therapy and recreation for the seniors, join the students of Boon Lay Garden Primary School for a course on designing your very own coaster using Perler beads! The coaster is waterproof and can be used in your everyday activities. Best of all, you are the creator of your different designs of coasters. It is perfect as a gift and even for your own decorative use. Note: The materials will be provided. Do look at the pre-requisites list below for more information.

Course Time: 2.00pm - 4.00pm

Prerequisite(s):
- 50 years old and above
- Singaporean or PR
- Must be able to understand and converse in simple English

- Participants will have to collect their pre-packed materials directly from Family Central's office based on their allocated time slots. More information will be given to you once you are successfully registered

- Participants will need to prepare the following:
- Iron x1
